Lucy Maud Montgomery Festival Days
About the Festival

Our festival has been so well received, we've decided to extend it for the whole summer! It has been featured in Chatelaine and Canadian Living as on of the best festivals on PEI and recognized by several travel writers as a must attend.

There are more reasons than ever to visit the beautiful, authentic properties that inspired Cavendish's most famous citizen, L.M.Montgomery. The author has sold over 75 million books worldwide. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the publication of her most famous work, "Anne of Green Gables."

This year L.M.Montgomery Festival Days will be kicked off with the Anne of Green Gables Country Fair at Avonlea Village from July 4-6, 2008. Join us for our first Anne of Green Gables Parade on Friday July 4th at 10:00 am, leaving Marco Polo Land Campground and ending at Avonlea Village to begin the Fair. For more info on the Country Fair, visit www.anne2008.com.

The following is a listing of sites and activities celebrating L.M.Montgomery Festival Days this summer.
