to the 2007 L.M. Montgomery Festival! L.M. Montgomery is Prince
Edward Island’s most famous author, and is recognized internationally
as the author of Anne of Green Gables, and of many other books,
stories and poems. Of her 20 novels, 19 have Prince Edward Island
as the main setting. In 1943, Montgomery was recognized as being
a person of national historic significance. The Island is home
to many places that were important to Montgomery, and you’ll
be able to experience all of them and more by taking part in
the L.M. Montgomery Festival. We’re sure you’ll find
the diversity of activities enlightening and enjoyable. See you
